Several pilots have flown under the Eiffel Tower, most famously American WWII ace William Overstreet Jr. in 1944 while chasing a German fighter, and US Marine veteran Robert Moriarty in 1984 in a Beechcraft Bonanza, simply "for fun". Others include instructor Alain Marchand (1981) and an anonymous "Black Baron" pilot in 1991 who also flew under the Arc de Triomphe before disappearing, showing it's a daring feat achieved by various daredevils over the decades.
