It certainly does not look like any vultures that live around here in the United States. Ours have big ugly heads with red crowns and do laps. They don’t attack anything or eat anything that isn’t dead basically carrion. The beak isn’t right for a vulture either. It looks more like for smaller bird of prey or one that eat insects? And being totally blacked that way just makes me think of a raven or something….

I guess the bird thought....hmmm a place to rest the wings! How often does that happen in mid flight? I am going to take advantage of this moment! 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡

It's not a paraglider, which looks closer to a parachute. It's probably an ultralight (motored).

Vultures do not attack living creatures. They only eat carrion - dead things.

yeah that is awesome. But aren't these birds scavengers and only hanging around the dead maybe this bird was contemplating that this guy would crash violently and was there not to rest but to claim his meal. 😂 I'm just saying my thinking may be a little sick and a bit dark, no one can or cannot say that this bird was not suggesting he will have himself a feast for his early dinner. yeah I admit that one was more dark than planned.🤔😲

Don’t believe I would pet the vulture. Not that I would not like to pet it …. the BIRD may not like to be touched. Just relax and enjoy the beautiful moment.

The vulture would probably not attack unless it felt threatened. Vultures don’t KILL for FOOD—they only eat already dead meat. They’re Nature’s Garbage Cleanup Crew.💕

Yeah, thank God it wasn’t geese they will either fly with you or attack you. There is nothing like hand gliding in the world, but some of the things that happen other people will find hard to believe who do not hand glide
