Can you say I’m a heroin addict. Stay off DRUGS then you can live a productive life without being homeless. or starving for food. I know this first hand, I am a recovering addict of 25 years now, let me tell you it was the best decision I’ve ever made was getting off drugs and alcohol. Life is great now, my wife and I actually have a savings account with money in it, life is much better with my kids and wife they have forgiven me for everything I’ve done, so please do yourself and you’re family a favor and ask for help. You don’t have to hit rock bottom to make a change now.

I would like to say as a NURSE of 20 years, I know what any opioid does to a person. BUT MY BLAME OF FALLING INTO THE ADDICTION TO OPIOIDS IS MY POS DOCTOR. I found out I had CANCER. The surgeon fucked up my surgery and I came out unable to talk, so he kept trying to fix "it" along w radiation. 17 surgeries later I now can talk and thank god for suboxone. So some people it isn't a choice, it's a nightmare......not everyone wants to be addicted to this shit.....

this reminds me of this guy that I saved his job twice and then went to work years later with a different company and he was doing this underneath the piece of equipment a few times sleeping. they never fired him from any of these companies and they asked me to save his job twice at the hotels, and I did while he was campaigning towards getting rid of my job and getting somebody else hired behind my back they asked me to train him so that they could get rid of Me 3 months later. he was living out of his van years later and I employed him with my own company just to help him out with some money and he was calling into the company that we was working on their stuff trying to get me into trouble. for Christmas he wanted to move in and I didn't let him because I can see he was on some kind of drugs

Alot of these comments are just horrible. To know you would see someone literally dying from a drug overdose and not call for help. Because they are on drugs is just heartless and shows you lack compassion. But, never know one day you may need compassion and mercy in a situation whether that through illness or loss etc. And you wanting a good outcome but because you heart was so cold to another human, that mercy isn't extended to you. It cost us nothing to have empathy, even to the ones that are self destructive to themselves. I have never had a drug problem but I don't look down on those that do. Anyone is capable of change.
Remember yall alot of ppl start addiction being prescribed drugs from a doc knowing they are highly addictive and have to move to street drug when they no longer get them then u have ppl who get laced n their whole life changes still sad either way

Glory be to GOD. I am a living witness RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE. 2 months clean off of all mind altering substances. And counting. Everyday that I wake up in my right mind and don't have to cop to get no dope and can sit with myself and be myself is a great day. Love being free

religion is a way of life we all have free will you can choose to do whatever you want and God won't stop you or interfere. that was his promise but if you so choose to live the lifestyle he will guide you and place things in your path to help but you have to choose it. God isnt a fix all for things so you cant blame him when he doesn't jump out and fix your problems its not how it works so show a little responsibility and seek the help thats out there and make better choices and he will show him self in your life but he aint gonna fix it for you thats your choose ( free will ) but most people dont know or understand the Bible. and the is concrete fact and discover of historical religious events for the doubters. I "CHOSE" to never TRY any drugs that I could get addicted to. This was literally a conscious decision I made growing up, so I guess we had different mentalities or maturities. I just never wanted to be addicted to anything, so I didn't touch it.
