When I was a teenager my friend house had 4ft crawl space underneath it. We put carpet and chairs in it. We used to drink beers and bone the neighborhood girls down there. Now that's a bad ass crawl space.
The roof of a storage container will not handle the weight of being buried. I know somebody did it and the roof just buckled in.

you can used forced air vents on yhe short walls yo eliminate moister and mold build up just need to circulate the air flow under there nice job guy 100% approved from a licensed plumber and contractor

alright I have an idea, hear me out, I put a 30 foot long shipping container and barry it, and than you have an u derground mancave separated from thw house, you put ventilation up to thw surface and hook up electricity to it, you can put whatever you want d9wn there and have an awesome hangout spot

My question is why is there a 4 foot ladder under there?
The job is well thought out not to mention having the subfloor above you have much better R-value with the thicker insulation and concrete used as the floor for the house sucks it’s colder unless it’s heated, only slabs I’ve seen around here for foundations is on apartment complexes. I wouldn’t have one as my floor, but his idea is awesome and the craftsmanship looks great.
Why don’t he have insulation between the rafters?
