I was homeless and didn't choose it! it's way more expensive to be homeless! especially if your home is being driven or ran constantly for heat or a.c! yes, they might have it figured out, but in their minds, they can't WAIT for it to end! comfort is one of my biggest things, and sleeping in a front seat even with it reclined gets pretty ruff!!! some places dont allow overnight parking nowadays, and truck stop showers are expensive!!! my ex-husband gave me 2 back-to-back evictions due to his gambling addiction that he hid from me the last 5 years of our marriage... he kept making excuses for why the evictions happened... And they were darn good... So I believed him because he had never given me any reason to not trust him before. evictions do not fall off of your record for twenty years. You would be lucky if you got a land lord to rent to you after five years of having an eviction. every situation and circumstance is different, but the heartache still impacts me to this day!
