These systemic disparities reflect inherited advantages, historic discrimination, and ongoing unequal access that perpetuate white privilege in America. Always keep an open mind, seek the truth for yourself, no matter how well spoken the person is, trust but verify.
I wanted to go to college in 1969, but as a poor White girl, I literally got LAUGHED out of the loan office!! The lady told me that ALL GRANTS were going to foreign students, ALL LOANS were going to Black students, and White students got NOTHING!!! SO, without a degree, I had to work low paying jobs for over 40 years!!!
