what happened to the trucker's gas pedal he couldn't speed up to go around and get back in the lane they were just starting to accelerate to stay up with traffic

Exactly ! I spreed up or slow down according to the tractor coming and flick of the headlights.
I saw Truckers in the left and right going the same slow speed and having traffic back up for miles behind. Within a 30 minute spand. In other words some Truckers dose that on purpose. They should have their Class A license pull
Truckers are just like normal drivers. There are good drivers and there are bad. We've all seen this situation a million times. Semi trucks in the left aren't always there to be jerks, sometimes like this situation they get stuck
people nowadays do not understand a truck is life when he is courteous enough to let you on fall back behind them let him get back in his Lane and let him do his job don't be a jerk

I will let them merge if they speed up and get in front but I’m not going to get over so they can stay rite beside me. I didn’t change lanes in Indianapolis to let a car merge they called the company and told them I ran them off the road. My dash cam showed they reached the end of merge lane and continued to drive on the shoulder. The company was ready to fire me but the dash cam showed it all. If not for dash cam I would have been without a job. They even called the police and told the same story.

honestly normally how it goes..and then nobody lets the trucker over..they just keep trying to pass on the right. instead of giving him time to get over. that's kind of typical these days.

This is why IF I move over, it's only for another truck. 4-wheelers can learn to merge properly, or ride the shoulder to get on the freeway.
when I drove I gave great respect to truckers. If I was at a stop light and a trucker was turning I stayed back to give turning room. If I needed to merge I would slow down to let truckers pass 💕
as a truck driver for 30 years I will always taught and learn never give up your right away when they're merging in just keep going they'll get out of your way

Always show respect for truckers on the road, especially so on highways. When passing them on the road, always flash your headlights on/off, on/off a couple of times because they may not see you. Also, when they are trying to merge onto the highway, always move to the center lane or slow down enough to allow them to merge onto the lane you are driving in, then passing them by moving into the middle lane. * directions based on a three-lane highway.

You don’t have to let people merge the laws say that the people coming onto the hwy must yield to traffic already on the hwy so thats why truckers don’t move over, you don’t have to lol
smart people know how to merge if you have to help them merge just keep going because they're dumb enough not to be able to merge them😳selves

PA is bad too with right turns for exit ramps and stop signs at the end for an on ramp.

I never scoot over. They have long enough time on ramp to get to the flow of traffic speed. And then, once they get on the freeway, they speed up.
Maryland and Virginia are the worst. do not know how to yield or merge. it's more like...out of my way.
Problem is a lot of drivers just don’t care.

Yeah, most of the people I get over for was slow up so I can get back over and then I’ll go around me or those speed up so I can get over but about one out of 20 wants to ride right along side of me after they merged. what pisses me off though is when they pass you on five or 10 miles an hour faster than you then get in front of you and slow down now you’re right on their ass God that pisses me off
they don't realize the truck does not maneuver like a car it could have stayed in the right lane and they would have raced him all the way to the damn end of the on-ramp and then come around in the emergency lane it's happened to me many a Time

In the state of Ohio if you move over you con be given a ticket, ask me I found out the hard. way , I got lucky and he only chewed my ass and let me slide.
Yep that happened to me all the time.. Also people merging thinking that I should be the one to slow down, sorry people but it's the responsibility of the merger to slow or speed up not the driver on the highway.
