Any teacher who acts like this should be fired. He should PAY to replace the ipad. He could have stopped beside her. Told her to pick up her belongings. Then tell her to leave the class, and don't ever come back in my classroom. At that point, give her a 0 or Fail. Instead he acted out like a heathen. As for the other student, she should have to pay the same amount to the girl for trying to make points with the teacher.

Nah. If the student fails to follow directions or refuses to follow them, that doesn't justify a staff member destroying personal property. And, as you can see, because of his position, his unacceptable behavior was contagious. That could have caused the entire room to erupt into chaos. We all lead by example whether we think we do or not.

While I’m pretty sure this is not real, if it is though, then he needs to pay for a new one and be fired or at least suspended for the term. The other student that stopped on it should also be banned from that class for the rest of the term and charged a fee and given community service hours.
