Understand that naming a child after one of the parents can also bring whatever that name holds to that child whether it be positive or negative. Sometimes it makes the child think that they have to live in the footsteps of that person and not have their own identity.๐ค๐ค๐ค

I think all kids, need their own names..To live up to or down to, my son's wife wanted to name their son after my son. I disagreed and told them why, my grandson is living up to his own name. In grand style ๐๐๐๐๐๐
My son is the fourth and when he had his son, he named him something completely different.He said, because he refuses to be like George Foreman and have 8 of him running around here getting on his last nerve, I have to agree with him, a child should have its own identity.Trying to live up to a name is not easy
