I remember seeing my sister and not recognizing her. I came from out of town every year and spent 4-6 weeks for the last 10 years. I missed 1 year. Back surgery 2023 and the very next year 2024 I hardly recognized her. She was diagnosed with cancer on Mother's Day of 2024(the year I missed) and she passed away may 28th 2025. I truly did not recognize her and I was shocked to see that she had declined in health so drastically in just 2 years. Cancer stole her. I miss her so much.

This happened to me I was waiting for my daughter at the airport I was out of change for the public phone I asked her if she had change for a dollar she then asked me for that's when I looked at her my daughter was wearing makeup which we never wore that was the first time for me seeing her with makeup on it changes your whole appearance I wear makeup today for that very reason 😆

This makes me happy and sad. My husband has been forgetting things a lot. He’s taken the test for dementia and Alzheimer’s and have passed except this last one he just sat and cried. I’ve told my kids and still he saw only one of his kids for his birthday. Smh 🤦🏽‍♀️
