If the mother was having her second child, what kind of motive would you have forgiving her baby antifreeze. Before you put them in away, and there are many who have harmed and killed their children double check.

This was a horrific but predictable case. In ‘89, Patty’s 3 month old died & was shown to have ethylene glycol which indicates antifreeze poisoning. She was arrested in 90. Her new baby, born in prison in 90, was immediately placed in foster care, even though her husband was NOT a suspect. Within 2 weeks, he had the same symptoms & was diagnosed with MMA, a rare, recessive genetic disorder where the body can’t break down some proteins & fats. This was NOT brought up at trial as the lawyer did NOT think people would understand 😵 or maybe he didn’t believe it! She was convicted in 91. A biochem professor reviewed Ryan's blood & found he also had MMA. She was released in ‘91, prosecutors dropped the charges & the baby returned to her, & they apologized to her. She then sued the hospital & won, & supported the prosecutor’s opponent! She is strong and fierce! Hope that you have a wonderful day filled with light & love! Mahalo!
