The minute she tossed them onto the floor I'd tell her to pick them up now because if I have to get them, I will put them in the garbage. I don't care how tired or whatever a kid is. I don't take any crap 🤔. Nobody should make anyone else suffer a tantrum because they are in a bad mood. Keep your bad mood in check and civilize yourself. My kids learned not to toss anything in anger because they would never see it again.

She just needs to be understood and heard and then maybe a nap. That’s all. She doesn’t necessarily have to be called a “brat.” She is just a little girl. My daughter is 26 now and she had her moments going through puberty and growth hormones plus skipping the late years of high school and going to college, we got through it. It is hard to be really smart and feel different from others. We as parents just need to guide them and love them.
