been there done that many of times over the last 25 years of doing concrete work. it's easy all you have to do is lift the piece of concrete you want to bust. place another piece of concrete under it, or a rock. this makes a void between the concrete and the ground. witch the makes it easy as hell to bust.

if you look at the edge of the sidewalk he is busting it already has a void between it and the ground that is why the edge busts off so much easier.

to answer the question... he can only throw the weight down at a limited speed based on his body weight. Conservation of momentum. since his leg is landing it's experiencing greater than 1G. the next level is a jumping swing where the whole body experiences 1G. HERE'S THE CATCH... If you haven't maxed out your standing knee bend swing, then you still can exceed higher throwing force before the leg kick is required. brother either needs a weight vest, or kick the leg. the last kick was stupid tho.
