Want to keep your car from being stolen these days, get a manual transmission.
Whatever happened to the club? You know the steering wheel lock from the 80's? If it's no longer being sold, it's a shame because I heard it was really effective at prevening car theft.
just buy a wheel lock come on now people 40 years old ain't getting down on knees like that whenever we get out of car
If you drive a modern car, you can cut the engine off once you notice it is stolen. I had to do this once when my brand new Jeep was stolen. My Jeep app told me pinpoint where my jeep was so I cut the engine off and locked the doors. The two drunks were still sitting in it trying to finger out how to restart it when the local PD arrived laughing because they got caught. The only damage was the empty beer cans in the back of my jeep.
Bolt cutter would have that lock off in less than 20 seconds. JS

I just drive a dirty beater that nobody wants to steal. Of course it has a new engine and transmission but it looks like crap. Gets me where I need to go.

I don’t see the point? A stick shift is already a theft deterrent! Because 99% of the people out there don’t know how to drive a sick shift! A few years ago I applied for a job as a parking valet here in Beverly Hills… the restaurant wanted women as the valet and there were so many women that applied they were beautiful women and I wasn’t exactly a runway model, but I’m pretty good looking… I was the only one hired… Why? I was the only one that knew how to drive a stick shift!

The pedal that is being “adjusted” in this scene is the brake pedal. You can clearly see the accelerator on its right. A pair of bolt cutters would easily solve the problem.

this is stupid please do not think this would stop a car thief.. if I was one it would stop me I can assure you that... if you want to stop you from being taken pull the fuse for the ecm or pcm it won't go any where without a tow truck
