Oliver North, who was a republican in the Nixon administration, was sending weapons to the Contras in exchange for drugs. Those same drugs flooded urban cities to perpetuate the oppression of black people. So, whenever we see this kind of scene, let's not say they have a personal choice when poverty keeps them depressed and the drugs relieve their depression.
