Many times prison guards bring them in just as they do drugs. This happens in all nationalities not just blacks. Best advice is stay out the way, don't borrow, gamble or loan. Rest your neck get a trade and don't tell anyone your release date.

no prison allows cell phones. Their reasoning is the inmates will coordinate uprising throughout the system and chaos would take over. Riots, kidnapping would result. Visitors go through strenuous searches, metal detectors etc. Guards bring them in.
