In pink. We were floored beyond belief when our daughter turned out not to be a flu that I just couldn鈥檛 shake, that dragged on and on while stressed to the max because her dad had had a massive heart attack. Everything was all about him for several months and I was 1400 miles away from all I knew. Almost 15 years after loosing my son in some of the most brutal ways and told it was highly unlikely that I could carry another to term. 6 months before her conception, I gave myself a week to have the hardest cry out because miscarriages were not talked about back in the day, at all, ever and that tore my heart to pieces almost as much as his loss. I cried so effing hard that week, shedding every tear I could find and let it go. I got it in my head that bearing children was not going to be for me.
