does it really make sense for Bubba and Debi to be able to purchase an assault weapon and not be required to have some training in order to purchase it. Military and LaW enforcement are required to have training. The NRA tells us good guys with guns can stop a mass shooter... but are they trained for that?

I'm not military, but if someone who knows more than me, tells me to put the gun down and back up, I sure in the heck would have done it faster! Training is where you learn so hopefully they learned to respond faster otherwise out in actual combat they may get hurt.
Those are Cheeto rounds they’re used in place of using HEDP (explosive rounds) in training the orange smoke lets you observe where they hit they’re known for bursting right out of the barrel or inside. They’re also make it a bitch to clean the weapon system. She did everything right. I also don’t know why these fuckin weirdos are freaking out lmao

STOP with the drama, everyone is capable of learning 👍👍👍. Should've seen the 1 girl we were feild training on the range with 😲, she was told the SAME THING & instead pointed the weapon at all of us, as if she was talking through the weapon 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ oooh D.S. had a FEILD DAY with her after that!!! 🇺🇸🫡🇺🇸

Looks like that round went off before getting down range prompting the Instructor to get everyone back and away from the cloud of gas.
The round triggered before it left the barrel(it’s some kind of gas round)
This was not an ND (Negligent Discharge for those that aren't familiar with the term), nor was it the fault of the woman firing the m320. Given that the round popped orange as it left the barrel and spun left, it was likely a faulty practice round. I'd guess the instructor moved them back to avoid anyone inhaling the cloud. It wouldn't be the first time an m320 round had an issue. They went into use after my time, but I've heard plenty of stories about that particular weapon, and more specifically, its 40mm LVA.
She did fine. These things are not all that reliable.

premature round detonation. 40mm must spin around 30 times for the fuze to activate. 50 meters is the least distance for fuze to detonate grenade charge. 40mm has a 5 meter kill zone.

She loaded the gas in backwards if you watch the barrel looks like it have muzzle flash when thats actually gas im pretty sure it’s pepper it less of a gun more of a launcher isn’t supposed to do that but she was right for waiting instructions and leaving the gun facing down range
