I have worked in the medical field for quite a while & you must advocate for your family members. From nursing homes, hospitals & rehab centers. When the facility knows that there are active family members it makes a difference.

I worked in nursing homes, rehabilitation and even residential... I cared and loved giving the utmost care for my residents. I can't stand when there's bad apples in the line of caring for the elderly. families out there stay in your loved ones life even if you think facilities will take care of them!!! they still need you to make sure they are well cared for!!! because why wouldn't you stay vigilant of your child at daycare??? same goes for your parents or grandparents! this world is full of pure evil!!! May God look over the unfortunate ones that just get turned away!!! this breaks my heart!!!

I've been saying this for years of your family members are in the hospital stay with them or have someone there to watch them doctors and nurses my ol man. was in the hospital for an infection and every meds they gave him I ask them what it was for and took pictures and when I ask them what it was for they really didn't know they was experiencing different meds on him which made him more ill so I went off and took him out that hospital and took him to another hospital where I actually felt better with this hospital stay with your family because once they see that your watching their every move they won't try anything but believe me a lot of people lost their lives in these hospitals because of the nurses and doctors
He has a right to ask for his dad medical record but dad must presign the papers like I did and gave to my grand daughter and son be careful disconnection of things on your father could cause heart stop or over excessive fluid I hope your dad pull through his longsuffering in Jesus name.Amen.

It's so important that we have family when we are in hospital because they will treat you any type of way that a damn shame I pray for him and his family!
I am so blessed to have so many nurses in my family. I question everything, and if the answer is not clear, I call one of them. Even meds. Because they push the drug that will profit them, not necessarily the one that helps you. Not all doctors do this, but some are only there for the money.
I realize that there is times restraints are needed in certain situations but that man does not look like a threat . This is the same thing that happened to my father so against the rehab/nursing homes permission we took him out and took him home. I pray that your father is alright.

They have those restraints on his hands way too tight cutting of his seculation they don't even supposed to have those things on his hands and his family doesn't even know anything about it. That's a damn shame that's why my dad is in rehab right now and one of us go and see my dad everyday and will until he comes home.

Please see this through. I went to our er with a broken back one little cocky kid would not diagnose me with a broken back he called my son and they discussed how crazy I was right outside my door. My son cussed me and drove my car like an idiot , be begging him to slow down it was hurting my back , it may have been the roads were nothing but pot hole my little friend when driving some where drove and hit them too. Several weeekd later the last two disk in my back At the bottom also slipped out and they also broke. I don’t know where their compassion goes . All I can say if u sow it expect to receive all of thit back on you.
