My dog had the same problem. They were eating him alive when an old farmer told my to put vaseline on his ears and it worked!

Bring her in the house until all the sores are healed. There is nothing you can do outside!

We were told by our Vet 20 years ago to use Head and Shoulders shampoo. Our dogs never have fleas or flies. We use nothing else in summer or any time of year. It works. Good for their dry skin. Promise !

I think they are probably deer or horse flies. Go to an agricultural store or Tractor Supply . I know there used to be a powder for cattle and horses.

This may sound crazy put some clean mud on her or him that will also solve your problems, that’s what horses and cows do they lay in the mud and it keeps the horse flys away. Good luck with your hunt.

Put one of those dog type sweater that will eliminate most of the bites. My grandma use to put this balm on the horses and they weren’t bitten as much I think it was bag balm , go to your local horse store and check with them.

🪰 Does anybody know how to remove flies off of dogs? We tried baths, fly spray, moving her to another area, but it’s not working. They’re biting her ears and I dont know what to do.
