Totally respect him for maintaining his self respect there is no need to beg them when he is close to being free.
If they put him on parole, they will put conditions on him and own him and have a leash on him for the next several years and will be able to send him back to prison for very minor offenses that are not jailable for regular citizens, like smoking a joint or drinking, they trying to trick him and just want to own him and keep him in the system, if he finishes his last 5 month sentence, then he is a completely free man and the systemcan'tgive him conditions, no parole or probation and they can't send him back for smoking a joint or drinking, their offer of parole is bullshit and not an offer at all and is a attempt to control him and keep him in the system and levy jailable infractions against him and send him back to prison.

80 years old and has served 95% of his time, just let him out I doubt he’s going to be a safety risk for the community. He’s probably been denied parole multiple times in the past and has done the song and dance with no success. I can see why he’d take this approach
