No they were paranoid because of the bonsai attacks 3 to 4 soldiers come out from the ground bunkers and shoot the shit out of USA soldiers and just vanish back into their dug out holes. Vietnamese had big traps dug out into the ground as well that looked like the rest of the ground and one step and stuck. Most victims didnt die right away they died slowly. But yea that is why Charlie was everywhere and noone could find or catch him lol. Until they figured out the Vietnamese. Plus lsd, was given to our soldiers by the government herion became a pass time drug as well.
