Drivers like that are exactly why I rarely ride my Harleys anymore. If they can't see a semi truck... They sure as hell won't see a motorcycle!!!
Not the 🚚 Semi's fault. SUV failure to stop. The Semi driver did stop and returned to the vehicle on foot 👣. Hopefully the person/people in the SUV are alright.

You cannot tell me that the SUV driver did not see the big rig!! The SUV driver was distracted somehow not to see the big rig. I know that there is usually not that much traffic on those roads; however, you much stop at the stop sign and look both ways before turning!! Hop no one was seriously injured!!
If the semi driver would have hit the brakes it would have taken the driver a mile to come to a stop. The car driver was at fault and the truck driver walked back to the accident!!

We were going to hang our helmets up also because wasn’t fun anymore.But 2 days before we were going to do a last long ride he was killed by a girl texting before it was illegal!
Car at fault but trucker will carry the burden for this rest of his life. He will be told it was a preventable accident when it wasn’t. His insurance will become so expensive he can’t afford it. If a fatality occurred no trucking company will hire him due to insurance costs. Driver loses everything and it’s not his fault.

People don’t realize it takes the length of a football field to stop for a Semi to stop. No ONE in a race with a semi is going to when . Only the semi wins. I almost killed a women when she pulled out from a exit ramp right in front of me! That woman doesn’t know how close she came to dying! I was hauling a heavy load of beer. If a truck driver tries to stop too fast the load can come into the cab and crush them. Just letting everyone know what happens.

Don't get me wrong on this it was definitely the SUV'S fault. However, it could be something called Inattentionial Blindness. Also called, Looked but Failed to See. LBFS. It can happen to anyone. It happens when the mind is overloaded. It happened to me once. I crossed a railroad track everyday to get into town. My two teenagers were fighting. We were running late. I had to drop them off at school and drive another seven miles to my work. I looked but I didn't see the train. Apparently he had blown his horn and I didn't even hear it. If it hadn't been for my daughter screaming, we would have been killed.

I love on a main road, and I see rolling stops like that all the time. I hate to see someone get hurt like this. The semi definitely did stop, look at all the smoke from slamming on his brakes at the end, then he comes walking back to the scene.
