I worked for the Texas Department of criminal justice for almost 3 1/2 years. I was ACO four and my captain beat the living hell out of one of the inmates about an hour after the incident. My sergeant came to me and told me that I need to write a report and my sergeant handed me a note a letter. what do you wanna call it to write exactly what my sergeant said and I told them I cannot do that because it’s not the truth. The captain beat this inmate really really bad and they were trying to tell me that I needed to write a false report and I told him I could not do that after I told the truth, the captain, the sergeant Aunt, and the rest well not all of them, but some of the people on my shift basically blacklisted me called me names put me on shift that nobody wanted, and I just finally just resigned just because I protected a black inmate I don’t regret it because I know I did the right thing
