my babies learned to swim before they were year. they could swim before they could walk. if people would teach them that there wouldn't be someone pool deaths from drowning
I have a good friend who never learned how to swim & she had her daughter she said her daughter would not take to water like that. Well…at 8 months old she took her for swimming lessons & she refused to get out of that water. When at home the only way to calm her was to put her on the bath tub. She’s 14 yrs now & is on the school swim team.
I was there when a little girl of that age went off course at that speed, flying through the air and breaking her neck. Now her parents wonder why they allowed it. It's too late to regret.

Where are their life vests? Children MUST be taught that they CANNOT go near water without a life vest on. It's impossible to watch your children 100%of the time. They need to know the rules.

I am guessing, mom or dad, went down that at slide multiple times with her before this. That baby knew exactly what to do, including laying down Dad's at the top mom's at the bottom, and it looks like she had fun.

I’m ALL for baby’s around water learning early how to swim etc , but the misstep and falling down them stair with no one around was anxiety but seeing and feeling like any minute she was gonna a fly up over sides of slide was almost more than I could watch

my dad threw all 4 of us kids in as babies like this one and said sink or swim. nobody that was family was in the water either. He'd wait until mom was busy she had a 1, 3, 5 and 7 yr old to tend to. so he'd wait till she's busy with one of us then throw us in. he did this every single time until we knew better than to be near him around a pool.

that was a very bad idea, now when the parents aren't around watching her she's going to be doing that all the time God save her from drowning when there's not somebody watching her 24/7 every second🙏🙏🙏
I see many potential injuries happening. Not because of the water or slide so much as: 1. her falling down the stairs. 2. her suffering a severe head injury from the bend in the fence railing inches from her head as she reaches the top steps.

This is so cool my kids started swim lessons at 6 months old. They have no fear of any water at all which made them great wakeboarders cause they started so young. I know people that kids are 15, 13 and they don’t know how to swim now that’s more harmful if you ask me!!!

Teach your babies how to swim. I am from NZ and had my baby taught when she was under a year old. It saved her life when she got into a pool and was able to float on her back. Trust me it’s worth it. I cannot believe it’s not taught in schools here in the US.

this age is the ideal age to lean to swim this letter are not dangerous at all if they have someone ready to pick her up at the end you can tell is not the first time she does it his father and her brother where there and the mom at the end to get her

How fun is THAT!!! My kids started to learn how to swim in the bathtub! I always wanted them to be water safe, so they started at a very young age ... like weeks old. I would blow in their face, which caused them to hold their breath, then drunk them under the water. They are used to the womb, so the water is pleasant.
