I have a good friend who never learned how to swim & she had her daughter she said her daughter would not take to water like that. Well…at 8 months old she took her for swimming lessons & she refused to get out of that water. When at home the only way to calm her was to put her on the bath tub. She’s 14 yrs now & is on the school swim team.
my babies learned to swim before they were year. they could swim before they could walk. if people would teach them that there wouldn't be someone pool deaths from drowning
I was there when a little girl of that age went off course at that speed, flying through the air and breaking her neck. Now her parents wonder why they allowed it. It's too late to regret.

No water park would have allowed this. This likely in my opinion wasn't this toddlers first time doing this. Im assuming this was done at their private residence and its apparent that this wasn't her first try. Im pretty sure the parents knew all was going to be alright or they surely wouldn't allow her to do it. All is good that ends good. Too many self-righteous people on here passing judgement. 🤔 That's one thing there are just too many of on here, busy bodies passing judgement from watching one video. Put it to rest.

kid's can hurt themselves just walking and falling down. saw a 2 year old trip on the sidewalk and cracked his little head. he went to the emergency room. my friends granddaughter was sitting at a table outside on the patio and slipped off the chair and broke her arm. you want to protect them yes, but you can't wrap them in bubble wrap. kid's will get hurt no matter what they do.

I see many potential injuries happening. Not because of the water or slide so much as: 1. her falling down the stairs. 2. her suffering a severe head injury from the bend in the fence railing inches from her head as she reaches the top steps.
dang, people, mom was right there to catch her. it's life. we need to live it
That is great for her being so brave but I question the parents decision to let her go on her own.
I’m a grown woman and I can’t swim due to a traumatic event when I was like 5 years old and then a couple years later being thrown into a pool by my aunt didn’t make my situation any better, that just made me afraid of the water. I can’t even go to the lake and get to close to the water because I have a panic attack, but it’s all good I made it through life without knowing how to swim and it is what it is, yeah I don’t even go out on my friends boats or anything even with a life jacket, but it’s ok I’m good with it. My point is you shouldn’t be throwing anyone who doesn’t know how to swim into the water, cause it can traumatize them like it did me, just something to think about.
I’m ALL for baby’s around water learning early how to swim etc , but the misstep and falling down them stair with no one around was anxiety but seeing and feeling like any minute she was gonna a fly up over sides of slide was almost more than I could watch

I almost drowned when I was very young I was pushed in a lake .Thank God I was pulled up. Today I don’t go near bodies of water. That fear is still there. However I am going to conquer that fear.

kids should be taught water love. my 6ft 2in step brother almost drowned in 5 ft of water. almost took my dad down too. they ended up staying out hours till dad taught him to swim and tread water. shook us all.

I am guessing, mom or dad, went down that at slide multiple times with her before this. That baby knew exactly what to do, including laying down Dad's at the top mom's at the bottom, and it looks like she had fun.
A million things could have gone wrong here.

I been swimming since I was 2. I had a huge inground pool my whole life right in the backyard. My mom swam and taught everyone in the neighborhood how to swim. That was me.
I love this a great way to show your children how to swim I think it’s very important that all children learn to swim.
