first I married a Peter Pan who didn't grow up and then I married a verbally and emotionally abusive man. I'm happily single.

A guy who apologizes. How nice! Even if she doesn't quite remember the issue!

He’s a very lucky man to have what he has. Life is way too short to hold grudges and argue. I hope they stay together for life, until death do them part.

Married for 20 years.. He leaves the house to run errands… I’m cooking dinner for him.. I get a phone call from the bank.. wanting to speak to my husband.. I said he’s not here.. running errands… she said would you please tell him to come back to the bank.. he closed your account & we accidentally over paid him by $20,000 dollars..🤷‍♀️ I tried to call he wouldn’t answer.. I called his mother to get her to call him.. she did.. he went to the bank & gave them the correct amount of money… but I didn’t hear from him for 3 days… I didn’t look for him.. Had no idea what was going on.. we never even had a disagreement…when he call me after 3 days.. he wanted to come back home…🤦‍♀️I should have never let him! He is resting in peace now 😳

I think the point is age. and how we don't remember little things like we once did. Busy with life.

I think that's one of the secrets to a happy relationship. Never stay mad at each other NEVER speak or act out of anger. seperat yourself calm down. I can never stay mad long. I don't know how some people stay mad for days, weeks, months, or even longer. That's exhausting just thinking about it! I'm usually mad for a few minutes, then I'm good. & hungry. 🤣

After 2 extreme marriages, I finally got it right! NOT married, but together 10+ years. We snap at each other but have never had a huge fight. We both figured life is too short to be mad or angry. If something really irritates one of us, we actually talk it out. We live in a big rig half our lives, 3 months at a time. If we can actually live in a place smaller than a jail cell & not fight, life is good ❤️

my husband did this kind of thing to me, an attempt to say he was sorry for pretending I didn't exist, in front of our children, for an entire week. As if I could just forgive that with a kiss! He was actually pissed I wouldn't give in and forget what happened. I begged him for an answer as to why he ignored me for a week, his only response was "thonk back, you'll figure it out", to this day I still don't know!!! He left me within 6 months later. That was 14 years ago. He is the narcissist.
