As I touch that part of the plane before boarding, I say a prayer over the pilots, flight attendants, baggage handlers, maintenance, ground crew, air traffic controllers, passengers, babies, structure and mechanics of the plane and for the skies to be friendly. I ask Jesus to carry the plane in the palm of his hand safely to the intended destination. I thank Him before take off and landing🙏🙏🙏
Me too! I always say, "In Jesus name!" for my flight to be blessed and covered by His protection! Bible tell us to do all we do in Jesus name!
Retired 70s, 80s, 90s FA here, l just make/made sure my seat belt is tightened as tight as it can be, put my feet flat on the floor, make sure to pay attention out the window, say 'please God, not this time', and cross my fingers on both hands! It's worked every time!😹❤️🥰

I do this too, but I thank my cousin Jimmy for being in the cockpit with the pilots to help if he's needed. He was a retired from the USAF and started flying and collecting planes to fly charters for various people. If you've ever seen the movie Cliffhanger with Sly Stallone, then you've seen Jimmy in a blonde wig as the female hijacker flying his own plane. the director needed his type plane with a door that opened to the inside so it could receive the hijackers briefcase. (won't spoil the scene for you.) scene was filmed over the Rockies, not over the Alps as in the story. In his honor I always pat "my" plane and tell Jimmy thanks for taking care of me. 👍💕

It's also a good idea to leave your finger/handprints everywhere so if you need to be found, there's always that possibility of it being helpful.. Everytime there's a traffic stop, the cops leave theirs on the back of the vehicles. This is just another reason...
