I had an officer tell me one time that they don't mind if you give other traffic a warning that the cops are present because if it gets them to slow down the goal has been accomplished.
I got stopped for speeding and when the officer was talking to me, I was singing my answers to him. He questioned why I was singing. I told him I was like Mel Tillis and I had to sing or else I'd stutter. He just looked at me with a smile and SANG back to me " wait right here while I write your ticket". It was hilarious!!! He cut me a very big break. He said it was one of the best responses he's ever had. He thanked me for making his day. A big Thank You guys for the job you do and keeping your sense of humor in spite of it all. Stay safe out there~

When my dtr was 4 months old, we decided to visit our parents. It was an 8 hour drive and my husband had worked all day. We left right after he got off work. I took over driving about 11:00pm, and drove into Dallas about 1:00am. My dtr. Began to cry- it was time for her to eat and I was breast feeding. I pulled over to a closed gas station that had just one light on.my dtr had just began to nurse on my left side when a police car pulled up. Two cops approached the car with flashlights - checking inside the car. I couldn’t cover up because I couldn’t reach a blanket. The officier on my side, and with the light shining on my dtr, just said that they wanted to make sure everything was ok. He saw my baby nursing, turned the light away and said “Carry on. We will wait over there until you leave.” I appreciated that the were watching over us and stayed until we were back on the road.”
I blink my headlights to tell on coming traffic there’s a cop ahead of them on the road, and it’s not against the law. 😂😂

like cops with a sense of humor. got pulled over at 3am on the way home for rolling a stop sign, right turn, 3 way stop... police officer asked me why I did it, I said I pretty much have been doing it on the way home from work every night for years...only difference is you're here tonight. he let me go.

I was driving my brand-new chevy and passed a cop hidden by bushes across the street. He pointed the radar at me, but I was doing just under the speed limit. Up ahead, a car was coming, so I flashed my high beams at it. The cop spun out of the bushes, lights and sirens, then pulled me over. “Okay, lady. Why did you flash your lights?” asked the cop. “It’s a new car, officer. I was trying to locate the turn signal.” He gritted his teeth at me. I fluttered my eyelashes innocently. “Read your manual,” he commanded, then let me go.

I love it! It reminds me of that video. We’re a cop stopped the woman for speeding. He got up to the window and told her,I need some ID. All the while this woman is laughing so hard. He looked at the license and looked at her and I said, ma’am, you’ve got an illegal license she didn’t stop laughing he said this tells me you’re your 145. She was still laughing when she said…brother stop doing this.

I was on the way to hospital to pick someone up car approaching blinked lights at me. OK cops approaching. nope, it was a bunch of ducklings crossing.

My husband and I got pulled over on our first date. My husband had to get out of the car to talk to him because the window didn't roll down. When he got back in, he told me that the police man asked if I had been drinking. At the time, we didn't catch on since I was not the one driving. But then, we decided he figured I had to be to be out with him. 😆😆😆

When I was in H.S. we'd go to the beach in Chgo, and drink. one night my girlfriends and I were drinking wine coolers on the rocks. I got to laughing so hard I fell over, only to have cops flashlights in my eyes. When they finally got us all up, and on the sidewalk. One of the cops asked why I was drinking Wine Coolers, I said "because I like the taste of them", he said "does it taste good enough to go to jail"?. Thankfully, they let us all go, but took our cocktails with them.
It’s the same as flashing your high beams to signal that you’re coming up on a cop doing radar. And the police can’t do anything about it. It was upheld in the Supreme Court as freedom of speech 👍!!!
