As a RN I’ve cared for both in my career & that is by far the most beautiful thing I’ve seen yet & it fully encompasses the circle of life. Thank you for sharing. When my daughter was born on a stormy Friday night where they out me in the hall to protect us from windows breaking and a couple floors down while I was in the throes of hard labor our loved & favorite Uncle Bob passed away at 88 from pancreatic cancer. He was a Captain in the Navy and was well respected. A man who had no children of his own but adopted me as his daughter. I’m the in-law but we had a special bond & I loved him dearly. He passed exactly 3 hrs before my daughter Alexis was born at 3 am on the night where we had in Michigan this crazy storm that went from Lake Michigan straight over our house and straight over the hospital flattening a hotel on the coast of lake mi & trees & houses a long the way. Windows blew & out my crazy outspoken perfect little girl was born. 5/30/98 your post is perfect

thats so so sweet. my kids never got to meet their grandfather... they got to meet their great grandfather when my son was a toddler and my daughter was six months old. I had never seen the smile on his face like I did that day when I got off the plane. my grandmother didn't recognize me at all. she asked me if I had seen a young lady get off the plane with 2 kids in tow. it was pouring down rain when we landed. and I very nice gentleman carried my son off the plane for me while I had my daughter. when I looked at her and said nanny.. its me Michele.. at first she didn't believe me. when I asked where pappy was.. she knew then it was me. I was a grandaddys babygirl. I was his favorite and when I saw him.. I cried and he cried not just happy to see me... but happy he got the chance to meet his great grandchildren. it was truly one of the best moments of my life!!!🥰🥰
