Do those idiots ever think of what they also put the first responders thru. The firefighters who have to extricate either people alive or those killed men, women, children. The EMTs that fight to keep those alive and are the bridge between life or death to many. The police that assist in whatever capacity and last but not least the most overlooked the towing industry that has to come clean up the entire mess which in some cases is unbelievable. Then when the families come to retain the belongings of their loved ones usually innocent victims or dui related seeing the horror. It’s just so many others that are affected and after years and years it can really take its toll. 🙏
Crazy story, me ex girlfriend's grandfather invented the jaws of life that the fire department uses. He left the patten to the fire department when he passed away and never asked for a penny.
as a nurse in er I hear so many times I didn't think it would happen to me. I thought I was sober enough.. and the typical bs of I drive better drunk.. I've heard close to all the excuses of drunk or drug intoxicated drivers.. then I see their victims... some completely innocent and others that trusted someone to get them home safe without sober understanding. each made that choice and it affects family and friends that lose their loved one... always I never imagined if be sitting here hearing the worst. be smart y'all. even your choices affect others you don't even know. we take home these people, their choices, all yourself if anything was missed. today there is ZERO excuse to drive impaired. prayers that keep all safe
My sister was killed by a drunk driver he got a bloody nose and 7 yrs for it. Deep in my heart I know it was because she was Hispanic, he was white. We were the only Hispanic in the county and surrounding. I still wonder if there's another victim/ life the drunk has taken.
Why are they WALKING that kid to the ambulance? You can see he's in pain and can hardly stand. He should have been placed on a stretcher.
Drunk driving should have the same type of prison time as murder and attempted murder...

I was in a bad car wreck in 1988. They pronouncing me dead on arrival airlifted to Saint Anthony’s hospital. The mother and daughter died instantly and the guy we were in the car with Steve Chavez. They gave him 48to life but he’s already out and when you’re drunk or people that drive drunk never get hurt cause they go with the flow. Their bodies are so relaxed for other people that was scared we stiff up. We break everything in our body
My mom was killed by a drunk guy who was going 95mph in a 35mph zone and t-boned her. He was driving a F150 and she was in a little Saturn. He tried to run but people held him down until the cops came. They said that when they have to go to these scenes that it traumatizes them and to have to tell the next of kin. This was in 2001, he jumped bail and is living in Mexico. He was 3 times the legal limit. He never hit the brakes...I absolutely hate seeing something that is so preventable and now we have people texting and driving who are killing innocent people. It is so sad 😢

If this country and others would make cars like they used to in the 70s and before, more people wouldn't get killed or hurt. These cars now are made of plastic and break away so easily. Then they charge an arm and 2 legs for them. With the money we pay for cars they should make them out of steel like before.

You know here in the state of Texas driving drunk the penalties are not strong enough if you’re involved in an accident where people get hurt, you should go to jail for one year no parole no death and it needs to be stiffer penalties on people driving drunk

Thank God I've been sober for 12 years now, I so use to get drunk and with poor judgement think it was ok to drive, thank Jesus I didn't kill myself or anyone else. Now I just have to stay super vigilant on the road these days because you never know, it could be someone fendy bent, drunk, and or playing w their damn phones
