I was older when my little sister was born. I wanted a big brother and they brought home this tiny pink thing that cried, made dirty diapers, and woke up everyone in the house during the night. I wanted an exchange. 2 years later they brought home another ping thing! I was still hoping for that big brother! I had NO idea where babies came from!

When I was 121/2, my brother was born & I felt less important, but years later, I had a grandson for them & he was replaced by his nephew, but years later, when they were older, they played sports with the 2 teen & 20-something old boys a block away from my mom & dad’s house & they enjoyed that!!

Reminds me of my great grandson when he was about to have a baby sibling. He said to his mama, "I'll be happy if it's a boy. But if it's a goil, (lol, he couldn't say girl), I'm going to put up a tent and sleep outside. Turned out to be a "goil" that he loved with all his heart.
