My husband never served due to health issues. When we were first dating, we went to see the traveling Vietnam wall. So many vets there, all looking for someone. My husband saw one man, kneeling and crying and touching one of the names. Walked over to the guy and his wife, passed him a tissue, and bent down to ask quietly "Can I give you the hug you probably didnt get when you came home?" The guy stood up and nodded. My now husband opened his arms and said "Welcome home, soldier! Thank you for your brave service!" The guy gave him a big bear hug. Had family members in Vietnam and other conflicts...knew right then that he was a keeper 🥰

Marines never wear their cammies in public like that. Those are the wrong color too, Marines have black in their cammies. Trust me, my son was in for 14 years.

All Presidents are given instructions on how to salute in the correct manner.Marine One is the call sign on what ever aircraft the President is flying on. Marines are taught NOT to cut your salute until it is returned. I was sent to the dentist at Parris Island only two weeks in. A young lieutenant gave me crash course on saluting right there on the sidewalk. I got it.
That is not a Marine Corps salute. Maybe a British marine?
