Here's an idea that I just came up with. Get rid of the Peoria police city council. Take all that money and build a shelter and make sure that it's stocked with food and everything they need.Most people will say I'm crazy and I'll tell you this. I am effing crazy here. I've got more than one screw loose. I don't trust the bullies with badges. I don't trust city council members. All they are are paid assassins. The The bullies with badges kill and get away with it. And the city council doesn't care as long as they're making the big money. And no, you can't shut me in. I have a constitutional First Amendment, right? You don't like what I have to say. Don't read it, you wanna do something. To harm me in any way. We'll take it to the United States Supreme Court and they can tell you that I can say, whatever I want when I want and if it hurts your feelings that's too bad. This is ethical and inhumane for police that are supposed to keep us safe and represent peace
there will definitely be more space and resources out there for them when the illegals are rounded up and booted out!
If it's illegal to be homeless then make more room for the homeless people who are actually homeless and not for ppl who choose to be homeless asking ppl for money.. I've said this way too many times how about putting these homeless people to gain work experience by fixing up these abandoned buildings and houses in the area, picking up trash, etc in exchange for free room and board, free health care screening, free clothes, free hygiene supplies, free showers, free job training classes, free transportation to and from job training classes building their resumes etc, help finding a job, assistance applying for social security if they need it, free state IDs, helping them sign up for medical
2) insurance, and free clothes for up to a certain amount of time til they find a job and get a paycheck enough to either get enough to stay in a weekly rate hotel and the hotel work out the cost of how much they charge based on the person's steady income or they get into a apartment of their own providing they're abiding by the rules..
the cops were there because there was a dog attack🙄 instigating shit just to instigate shit, pulling the race card and all.. and had no clue wtf you were even mad about.

about the homeless encampment and the city's stupidity I am personally making it my agenda and priority some sort behalf of everybody who's in the homeless situation I used to be one of them I ran in the wrong relationship and had to run away and the only thing I had was unfortunately a tent this has happened to me in more than one places I since then have now got a house two jobs the city would have never known watch and see what happens when I go to the city council anybody who wants to join me open meeting the next open meeting I'll be sure to keep everybody posted get as many people rallied together as possible because this is wrong for what the city is doing these people don't have anything but what the police and the city are destroying I'm getting the news channel involved and anything I can possible when it comes within the law and necessary means of the police is pretty sad to serve and protect that is pathetic you are doing completely the opposite LET US BE THE VOICE
Peoria has to do better. This is so hurtful because I was born and raised in Peoria. I experienced being homeless in Peoria and chose to fix up an abandoned house. It seems like the whole city, police included, ganged up on me. They stole everything I owned and locked me up for trespassing. The house had utilities on and was fully furnished. I represented myself in my criminal case that was eventually thrown out. What they did to me was illegal and I believe what they are doing now is illegal. This needs to stop. By the way the city ended up tearing down the house that they illegally evicted my family from. I was angry for so long with Peoria for so long. I love my city. I just wish they would do better.❤️

I Once borrowed someone's car and while driving down the road.In peoria the alternator went out And I had a call for help. Instead of the police protecting and serving , they decided to search the car and I explained to them that It wasn't my car, it was my first time borrowing it and they found a metal one hitter for w33d. They stuck me in the back of the cop car and claimed it was a cr@ck stem and that I was on drngs when I wasn't. I had his supervisor come out and told him every single thing about the situation. let's just say the supervisor released me, helped me get a tow truck and publicly fired the cop that tried to arrest me on false charges, illegally searched the vehicle without following protocol, patted me down (he's a male, I'm a female) and caused all this trouble all over something that was nothing. A broken alternater doesn't give justification to search the vehicle. And about that one hitter, he gave gave it back because of all the trouble.
Didnt he just say what they were there for???? I believe they were there because of a crime.

3) Now I find it very convenient now that there's cash bail they want to send homeless people to jail for this..Sounds like they're trying to still get government funding somehow now that the jails are mostly empty..and fines for what?! don't u think they got enough on their plate being homeless next issues going to be more ppl on the streets needing help with a place to stay now it's going to be needing help paying their fines having to choose to eat, somewhere to sleep, or pay on the fine scared they'll go back to jail..very inconsiderate to pass this and ignorant..be humble one day ur not in their position next minute u could be..never think it couldn't happen to u or someone u know..

This is absurd and ridiculous to do to the homeless population! The City of Peoria ie The City Council of Peoria, IL needs to get a place for our homeless people in our community to go and live instead of arresting them and putting them in jail!!! What problem is arresting homeless people and giving them fines when clearly they have no where to live and are either disabled or on SSI or they have mental health issues and cannot get any help with an affordable home to live in!! We have no better way to treat people in our own community???? How about you put our tax dollars to good use and help our homeless people and help our homeless veterans and homeless people with children????
