Were you able to get her to a hospital? Were they able to pump her stomach or did the acid release within that time? Couldn't they have I V'd her to neutralize the acids? So many questions!!!
Happened to my niece when she was a toddler. It is a very serious situation. It can happen so fast and usually it's babies who like to put everthing in their mouths, and can't tell you what they've done. Luckily in my niece's case, her older brother saw her do it. But she still ended up with permanent damage, a collapsed vocal cord, which is also serious.
I never knew that a small battery could kill a child if swallowed! Especially so fast! 🤯
Heavenly Father please hold this young girl and her family tight with your love during this difficult time. Please continue to bless all her Drs and nurses with wisdom. in Jesus name I pray for this. 🙌🙏💫

They need to outlaw them in all toys and parents need to be super vigilant about giving little kids tech with batteries. Although any toddlercould eat them off the floor. They ARE delicious.
You should immediately give them honey and keep giving them honey until you get to the hospital. Honey will coat the batteryand more than likely save them.

My son was shot in the neck with a baby they said they couldn't put him in that machine because it would break the machine it's a magnet so how did you put her in the machine

I called the hospital and they said there was nothin they can do about it because kids do this all the time, then told me to call the Poison control! Smh I was so lost but I called the poison control and they told me that I had to give her MILK!!! They told me to check her stool out every time she goes to the bathroom! I decided to gave her lots of fluids and checked all of her stool into I found it! When I did she was perfectly fine! Thankin the Lord above!!

so scary but great full u caught it and she is ok. Being a parent is so scary every time I turn around I learn about something else we have to watch out for or keep away from our son. Just crazy but we love him more than life itself so it's 100% worth all the headaches amd worrying. Just gotta be alert every second of every minute.
I have hearing aids that use these very tiny battery buttons. They die very quickly, and have to be replaced every 8 hours. I have 2 small Yorkies, that walk around sniffing every spot on the door!!!They're very smart. The two year old wants to chew on everything! My eyesight is bad, arthritis in my hands. So I have to take very small pain pills.I've found my pills and batteries in numerous places on my floor!!! I do know for a fact if they found one, they'd sniff it and walk away thank God! I did a test to make sure by placing a battery and a. small pill in a certain place they would sniff on the Floor. I was very close to making sure they didn't touch one. Which they didn't. This was a wake up call! A small child is extremely more likely to swallow everything!! Please be careful 🙏

Could the battery be designed with a buffer inside it to counteract the acids that tear it up when entering the stomach.We have 2 of the strongest acids in our stomachs and these batteries explode inside . 🤔 So tragic.
