Not many couples get to recover together! I have a partner of 21 years and we were sober when we met. Entered drug abuse together and after many years we got sober together! We’ve been sober about 7 years now and no one I want to be with more than this Man! I love to see other couples doing it together as well!

it took me losing everything including my 4 year old daughter my whole world been clean 17 years now but I'm so lonely and feel everything now that part sucks miss the numbness drugs gave me but now I've got 4 kids and my sobriety! we do recover eventually lol!!
me and the wife were hopeless also. we made a plan. stuck to it and we will be celebrating 11 years of sobriety and last November we celebrated 16 years together. the past ten were so good.

I have a year of sobriety today. I was an addict for 30 plus years. I was homeless for 7 years. Today I'm grateful to God . I'm involved in my kids lives and am so grateful for a second chance. Grateful for my wife too. I was the guy they said would never change.
Ive seen plenty of addicts act like that off freebase, crack, and meth. I have NEVER seen somebody escape the trap after being so physically and mentally fucked up. Your wife is a GODDAMN LEGEND. I had to leave someone because of it. I am happy to see it turns out that other way sometimes❤️❤️❤️
