omg I work at Lowes and we all know you have to get the order picker to get boxes bigger than the lift. He's lucky he didn't get fired over this!!

They do not train you properly on heavy equipment, I worked in fulfillment, was never trained on forklifts, pallet lifts, or cherry pickers yet. I was required to use them to get the customers items for pickup or delivery. The big issue with this is that the items ordered would be washers, dryers, bricks, but mostly wood(up to 200 pieces). The largest order I had was for 32 pieces of 16ftx16 Deck Wood along with 12- 80lb bags of concrete mix with NO hand truck and NO assistance. I had to move every single 80 lb bag from pallet to the customer's truck. A couple days after that I was admitted into the hospital. During my stay, I received a termination letter. I tried to receive unemployment and was told that I had voluntarily quit. Which FOR THE RECORD I DID NOT QUIT. I called every day to let them know my condition. If I had the money I would have sought legal assistance. I was left jobless and injured with a voluntary quit on my record and no income.
