In my day growing up if I talk to my parents like that I get my butt wooped and sent to my room. Same with my kids. I’d never stand there laughing at my kid. .
I couldn’t imagine talking to my mother like that! She died 8 years ago when I was 59 and never dreamed of acting like that
Baby Boomers got spanked A LOT. This led to the Hippie Generation, Free to Be and Me, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, and a massive avoidance of spanking our own kids. We did Time Outs and talking/explaining to them. As things progressed, a huge increase in divorces (from 25%to 50%) started a trend of parents wanting their kids to LIKE them; i.e., less playing/more competitiveness, lax rules, no enforcement, less supervision, expensive gifts frequently, and advancing kids into higher levels of activities than they were really ready for. And we wonder why we have bratty, entitled, isolated, selfish kids today.
I am 72 and my Mom is 93. I have never talked to my Mom like that and even at 93 if I did she would make sure I never did again!

I am 81. All my mother had to do was raise the wooden spoon. No one spanked us but it was understood a bad choice had an unpleasant result.
I never said no to my mom or argued with her. that carried on all my life with others .

I would make sure he didn't do that again. Respect starts with the parents. My mom would have busted my Ass and sent me to my room until my dad got home. THEN I learned that I respect my parents at a really young age. !! .

maybe he has to pee and knew he couldn't make it hence why hes acting like this. he could be embarrassed perhaps went behind the car to piss and maybe had some piss stains on his pants. him acting like this is because he's nervous. some kids don't know how to express themselves especially when it comes to the bathroom situation. they don't want to tell ya to embarrassing for them. it's a way of them not knowing how to express himself over an ass accident. u may have told dad But not mom. boy boy thing ya know like us girls feel better talking to mom rather then dad on some terms. 🙏God bless em he's innocent LEAVE THE POOR KID ALONE. The type of discipline my parents used on me when I was growing up would definitely be considered abuse today. Raising my voice to one of my parents the way this child did would definitely got me knocked across the other side of the room. But I can assure you we weren't out running the streets shooting and killing each other. Kids these days act like they're entitled to get what they want when they want. Sadly, most parents these days discipline their kids threatening them, but never follow through. There are no consequences for their actions

I'm 35 and still wouldn't talk to my mom like this
I'm not allowed to discipline my grandson when he talks to me like that. So when he does I immediately call his dad to deal with it. when he's a teenager talking back to his parents they'll regret not nipping it in the bud early.
