My Sugar has brought mice in my bed while I was asleep. She tossed it in the air a few times. It hit my back. I thought she was just playing..I had to take it from her. It wasn't pretty. This is Sugar 🥰😍
A vet told me once told me to not ever throw away a gift like that from a car or dog because it was there way of taking care of you & thanking you & trying to feed you. Animals are amazing & learn how to communicate in their own ways !

OMG I saw Ben years ago. I can't deal with rats & mice. this brings back so many ughs. my cat Shasta has run in the house when I called him and sat a big mouse right down in the kitchen floor. screaming n of course it ran off. the last time was a dead baby.

I've shared this special bond and trust when my cat brought her new born babies in my bed. My heart was overwhelmed with love and gratitude that mom trusted me to love her babies as I did her! Such joy!! That you GOD!!!
My mom and I had a cat that brought us a white-winged dove. He actually belonged to a neighbor who never pet/feed/water him. So, my mom and I took care of him. He would get hurt in fights with other cats/animals. We would always catch him and take him to the vet for antibiotics. The loser also let his two young boys abuse him. We loved the little goofball. The last time he was hurt, he came close to losing his entire tail bc of a massive infection. He didn't even know if he would live. We made our minds up right then. I brought him inside one night so the idiot wouldn't know what happened to him and made him even more rotten. He was about nine months old. He lived until he was nearly 15. He passed from stomach cancer. RIP Shoebooty

At least it was dead! When I was a kid our male cat came home with a baby bunny alive, he left right away and like 20 minutes later came home with another, he did that six more times for a total of 8 baby bunnies!! My mom took care of them until old enough so we could go to a friend’s farm and release them! Much cuter than a rat!

Hahahaha😆 I've got a cat who regularly brings me "gifts", BUT she never kills them. One evening as I lay down to sleep, I felt something on my head. It was a LIVE lizard! That lizard freaked out, because it was tangled up in my hair! I jumped up screaming... LIZARD! Lizard in my hair!!😳 That lizard ran all over my head, with his little lizard feet running all over my scalp...my face...shoulders!

I rescued a cat from work like 25 years ago. husband didn't like cats or dogs. he said the cat better earn his keep ground the house. a few days later, our cat smoky brought him a dead mouse. he was with us for 3 years. Sadly, he got in a fight with an older cat and passed away.

OMG!! My Archer had a favorite toy that was a little white rabbit fur mouse. He carried the toy mouse around the house everywhere. He would put it in his food bowl while he ate. He put it in the water bowl while he would drink water. I found him in the litter box with it. He loved for me to throw it and he would go get it and bring it back. Needless to say that little toy mouse was a nasty, dirty little mess.
A friend's cat (a huge, long-haired cat who weighed 18+ pounds) came in through the cat door bringing them a gift. It was a rabbit as big as the cat, wounded, bleeding from his nose, and still trying to escape as the great hunter kept trying to drag him beneath the covers with Mommie and Daddy. Scared the fool out of them!! 😆
