I too have a feral cat. 8 weeks old when someone threw her out a car window into my drive way. I live in the country...it was Halloween...cold and rainy....she sat out there and cried till I gave in and brought her in. She was in awful shape, being eaten alive by fleas...all skin and bones with infected eyes. Vet said she probably wouldn't have lasted the week.Well, today she's a beautiful robust coal black beauty with the temperament of a panther. It's been 4 years now and she's still feral...it never leaves them I suppose. No cuddles but we have long conversations...lol....she's a talker for sure. I'm glad this poster has been able to break the feral code and her kitty is a loving pet. My beauty, who is quite large still greets guests with a spitting hiss and claws....I've tried but have failed to calm her....but no luck. So I will love her as she is and everyone else can take their chances...if they feel brave. 馃樉馃樉馃樉馃樉馃樉馃悎鈥嶁瑳馃悎鈥嶁瑳馃悎鈥嶁瑳馃悎鈥嶁瑳馃悎鈥嶁瑳

I took the time, 7 months, to get a feral kitty to come inside. Mouse has been my muse for 5 years now. it's WORTH it
