During the recent atmospheric river hitting California, a driver attempted to push through what looked like a flooded highway. What seemed like shallow water quickly turned into a moving river. Within seconds, the current took control — the car was swept away, forcing the driver to climb onto the roof as the vehicle disappeared downstream.

don't drive through fast moving water it will sweep the car off the roadway then you're done ..if you try it going as slow as possible to keep contact with roadway also doesn't flood out engine compartment...fast moving water is cars worst enemy though it will push the car off the road then you're just a passenger along for the ride 🤔...

plumb stupid, let me talk to ya. First of things wrong in this episode of dumb people making dumb decisions. That is definitely to much water flow raging across that road, it has vallum and speed, it's passing across that road at probably 20 mph. Should have never even attempted to cross. But if, I was to attempt to cross I would start off by lining up with the left side of the road, yes go across in the wrong lane. The water has to take vehicle extra 15' to make it a complete washed away vehicle. You need a steady speed like maybe 5 no more than 10 mph. You got 1 chance at this lineup your freaking path and go don't hesitate once started, hold firm grip on steering wheel , don't stop or let up until across. now that I hope you have made it, don't ever do that again. Myself would not do it, but I believe that there is a slight chance it's possible, by following my method, any steering movement if needed is going to be turning to the left.😱🤔😐🙏🏻🙏🏻
