I just spoke to a woman yesterday who came to this country when she was 5. she's 53. took her family 4 years to become citizens. her parents had to show they could contribute as citizens, not just take. they were from the Belgium, Germany area so understandable. mine came through Ellis Island like some 12 million others from 1892 to 1924. ALL LEGAL. why is that such a hard concept these days? that there's no free ride? that there's a legal way to do it? and why in the world would you would ever get in the way of someone armed to the teeth and doing his/ her job is beyind me. smh
