Food stamps are only supposed to be a supplement for families not to be heavily relied on for all food.

Ok. First of all. I’m not a democrat. A car accident destroyed my life. No it wasn’t my fault. N i suddenly found myself having to be on hud housing n living on snap n ssdi. I get the lowest amount of funds in both cash and snap. And live in a building filled with people who would sell their own mother for a hit. I would love to work again. Unfortunately the damage i sustained in the accident has made that impossible. I started a garden to try n help with some of my food lack issues and the rats ate everything before anything could even ripe. I get 167.00 for an entire month. Know what that buys at the cheap store? An average of two bags of food. And i make most things from scratch to cut down on costs. This isn’t a left or right thing people. This is a humanity thing. The sooner everyone figures that out? The better everyone will be.
People who use their own hard earned money to buy groceries always shop sales, bogos and clip coupons.

my issue date on food stamp is the 7 th of every month and supposed to received $507.00 and only received $10 to feed my four children and I and my elderly disable mother who is a diabetic and having it rough I been searching for jobs since January of this year and only had two interviews and I have applied several places and still don't have a job. I am still applying and searching every day

Some people used to take advantage of these funds.When I used to get SNAP, I made sure I got healthy snacks, not junk food, and I worked off the books to make ends meet. It's sad, but somehow, it's making people learn a lesson about how not to take advantage of their benefits.I pray to God this will get better soon!

Everybody talking bout buying snacks like that’s a hugeee problem. You honestly care way too much about us giving our kids a bag of chips. My kids still eat everything I cook && we ain’t over here making pasta, i don’t know which comment said that but keep your suggestions to yourself cause we cook cook over here. We know snacks is not the problem but y’all wanna make what the government doing look so good you wanna blame it on snacks. Didn’t Halloween just pass since everybody talking bout unhealthy food && snacks && etc? Kids are gonna be kids! We can give them snacks && we can also cook for them. There’s nothing wrong with that.

Наш арендатор каждый год на 2 процента увеличивает плату за эту квартиру, которой за 20 лет не сделал ремонта. Далее, мы платим за газ, свет. Я и муж в США отработали каждый из нас более 20-ти лет!! Мы всего несколько раз получили на двоих 300 долл. фудстемпов, то есть по 150 долл. на каждого. Мы просили остановить плату за аренду квартиры. Нам власти отказали. Почему?!😭 Просим помочь нам остановить плату за аренду нашей студии!! Спасибо заранее!!

I am fighting infection I had more than almost half a year… it’s literally so important to eat the right foods. I can feel my body be sensitive any thing that triggered . Not having snaps isn’t just loosing benefits, it’s loosing a momentum in progress.

People are having fits for nothing. Your not starving to death the United States citizens are spoiled most don't even know what the mean. You want to know what starving to death really means and is? Take a trip to Zimbabwe, Africa to an orphanage for children . They are skin and bones lucky to get one meal a week and thats a bowl of rice. So stop complaining and having a hiss fit about food here in the United States at least you are eating have a roof over your heads and clothing and shoes on your feet. Appreciate what you have . Even parents in Zimbabwe and Africa work all week and only make $10.00 to $25.00 a week for paycheck . Be thankful for what you have and stop complaining.
