All he had to do was meet with both parties and come up with a solution but no he thought taking a trip to visit other countries for his trade deals and tariffs was more important than thei country. He could say the word and this would be all over. Obama canceled his multi trip during the shutdown under his watch to help solve the problem! That's what a real leader does!

I'm afraid that suspending SNAP for November will manifest into permanently suspending SNAP. This is a test to see how people will react. Looting, rioting, stealing?
