President John F. Kennedy (1962) oversaw the creation of the modern Rose Garden. President Richard Nixon( 1970) He converted Franklin Roosevelt's swimming pool into the press briefing room and added a bowling alley in the basement. President Gerald Ford- (1975) He had an outdoor swimming pool built on the South Grounds using private funds. President Bill Clinton- His administration restored and refurbished the Executive Mansion. President Barrack Hussein Obama- (2009) upgraded the tennis court into a basketball court. President Donald President Donald J. Trump- (2025) The current renovation involve demolishing a portion of the East Wing to build a 90,000-square- foot, privately funded ballroom. He has also overseen renovations to the Oval Office and paved over the Rose Garden. 🙏🏻❤️🇺🇸

Presidents from Teddy Roosevelt to Barack Obama have remade parts of the building to their liking. And Harry Truman oversaw a major modernization of the White House, built in 1792. So it’s not unusual. It’s being done with private funds and the old east wing is now gone. So cry a river, build a bridge and get over it!!!!
