What the hell do they care? They got money in their pockets. Traffic controllers have a very stressful job and they should get paid full. Pay not partial. If the president won the land his plane I guarantee he want the best air traffic controller to obtain that for him, how about for everybody else?

I truly believe that air traffic controllers are committed to ensuring the safety of our airways. However, it’s concerning to think that we're facing a heightened risk. Increasing from 5 percent to 55 percent is a significant jump, and it really raises alarms. My thoughts are with everyone affected, and I sincerely hope we can return to a sense of normalcy soon. It’s understandable that people may become anxious in uncertain times, and I hope they feel supported as we work through this together.

When Pete Buttigieg was transportation Secretary during Biden’s last term he implemented more classrooms & instructors to train & hire more air traffic controllers which were already at a critical low during Trump’s first term. Trump cut those classes using DEI as an excuse. Pete also made Major improvement at the Charlotte/ Douglas airport , the 7th busiest in the world, including a new control tower & rights for travelers. Trump’s irresponsible cuts without due diligence will affect more than air traffic controllers safety. The firing of govt employees with years of experience, CDC scientists , health care providers & FDA inspectors safeguarding our meat & as well as our medicines being inspected is putting All at risk includinG MAGA. The Gov. shutdown is also attributed to Trump. The GOP has total control of the House, Senate & Congress. Trump also admitted that he was in control of the shut down on video when it began. He can also release SNAP funds immediately but won’t.
