Johnson's lies versus reality. Democrats are fighting for Obamacare subsidies, Medicaid and food stamps for American citizens. Democrats were willing to come to the table but Trump ordered Republicans not to negotiate. That makes this shut down on Trump and the Republicans. And the excuses that they're going for health care for illegals is BS. Illegal immigrants do not get Medicaid, Medicare, food stamps, Section 8 housing, welfare or WIC but they do pay billions in taxes which they get none of the benefits including tax refunds and all those billions are spent on American citizens or Trump's pocket. and illegal immigrants do work that Americans don't want to do.

We have a national 6 billion dollar "just in case" FEDERAL emergency fund for SNAP benefits to ensure no interruption for our most vulnerable populations... pretty sure the State of Utah does as well!! You guys need to see that the point of this is CRUELTY!!! It is CORRUPTION!!! They are holding our own money hostage from the American people... benefits we pay taxes for to ensure this doesn't happen... whether it's from a shutdown, natural disaster...etc. You need to realize that COX is allowing this to happen to Utahns. Trump has given the order as a way to try to force the hand of Dems, while concurrently blaming them for the shutdown... so what... the forced choice is to have to choose between Affordable Healthcare for all Americans OR our poor, elderly, low-income, and disabled population having food. ???
