Big Daddy, What's taking so long? Where's the original files! Show the Democrats and the Republicans. The American Public deserves to know. To invoke the 25th Amendment's most significant power (Section 4), the Vice President must send a written declaration to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House stating the President is unable to discharge the duties of their office. This declaration must be co-signed by a majority of the principal officers of the executive departments (the Cabinet). The Vice President then becomes the Acting President.
