Padilla interrupted a press conference in Los Angeles hosted by Homeland Security. He barged in where the press were seated and began to yell questions of his own not allowing the press to ask questions or Homeland Security to answer the press. He refused to leave and became even more unruly. Federal agents were in charge of security for the event and Padilla was detained then arrested. This would be normal for any press conference (an event you are invited to) and someone forced their way in and caused a disturbance. Is he above the law because he’s a senator? Why is this guy acting like Trump ordered it personally? He wasn’t even there. Law enforcement was there for safety and security. Apparently they felt he needed to be removed.
