She did much worse. Trump and the bank were not innocent parties to this transaction. The bank did their own assessment for the property and issued the loan off that, not what Trump assessed it for. They got paid back with interest and made a lot of money. Where did the people of New York suffer damages of .5 billion dollars. The appellate court even asked the attorneys for the state that, and if they had ever done something similar in the past.
