Getting arrested is not a sign of guilt. It is an accusation of wronging, that you are considered. INNOCENT OF, and the due process is your hearing, which consists of the arraignment, various court visits, a trial, and a determination of guilt. If that determination of guilt doesn’t materialize, you walk! BUT before one can be arrested there needs to be reasonable suspicion they either (a) are ABOUT TO commit a crime, (b) ARE actively committing a crime, or (c) HAVE ALREADY committed a crime. Now, we know (a) and (b) don’t apply. No one saw them illegally cross, so there evidence of that, and we’re not watching them physically crossing the border knowing they don’t have permission. So that leaves (c) and for that, we need evidence and we won’t have that until we have a hearing (due process). if they believe they have evidence of (c) they need to get a warrant since they presumably have “probable cause”. But government records are notoriously incomplete, outdated, or flat out wrong!
He said, "They have never had their cases heard." That means they do have cases, but they have not been heard. If they have cases, that means they are doing it the right way. That is exactly what people have been saying. It takes YEARS for cases to be heard. That's not their fault.

If you are not eligible for asylum, you have no legal standing to be here. If your asylum claim has already been heard and rejected, the process is over. You go.

If you skip due process coming in, you don't get it going out. To prove you are a citizen, you just have to show ID. You don't have to go to court to prove you ran across our border illegally. That's apparent when you can't show any documents showing that you are in the legal process of becoming a citizen.

a citizen can get proof of citizenship from several different sources of documents and they are then able to know you are a citizen if you are not able to provide proof of citizenship then they are required to find you are not a citizen it's not hard for a child just use reason and common sense for Pete's sake
